Mr. Adkins is associate principal horn of the Fort Worth Symphony. He holds the BME degree from Texas Tech University and the MM degree from SMU. Mr. Adkins has appeared as a soloist with the Fort Worth Chamber Orchestra, the Lubbock Symphony Orchestra, the Texas Tech University Symphony Orchestra as a winner of the TTUSO Concerto Competition, and was recently a guest soloist with the National Orchestra of Peru. He is active as a chamber musician in Fort Worth for the Spectrum Chamber Music Series and as an area studio musician. Mr. Adkins has also performed with orchestras including Dallas, Houston and San Antonio.
